The Brian Friel Trust is grateful for donations from the public to support the development of The Brian Friel Centre. Funding for a feasibility study in 2023 came from the LEADER Programme. The Brian Friel Trust has received funding and support from The Heritage Council and Donegal County Council as part of the implementation of the County Donegal Heritage Plan. The development of The Brian Friel Centre supports the Glenties Historic Towns Initiative (HT19192) which is a partnership between The Brian Friel Trust CLG, Donegal County Council, Dedalus Architecture, property owners and the local community funded by The Heritage Council and the Department of Housing, Local Government & Heritage.
